LONDON, UK: A policeman has been suspended after a traffic stop on a London street where a dancing policeman was reportedly arrested.
A spokesman for the London Metropolitan Police (LMP) said on Wednesday that the officer had been suspended and the matter was being reviewed.
The spokesman told reporters:”A LMP officer stopped a vehicle in the vicinity of St Pancras and observed that a man had been arrested.
The officer made a stop, but as the vehicle approached the LMP station, the man refused to stop.
The LMP vehicle then approached the driver and asked for his name.
The driver, who was a dancer, refused to give his name, and the Lmp officer attempted to arrest him.
However, he was subsequently stopped by another officer.”
The LMP spokesperson said the dance officer was arrested on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering.
