A new cartoon that shows kids laughing at the sound of baby policemen in a nursery rhyming up the police and the police force article A New Yorker cartoon has been making the rounds on Facebook and Instagram, and it has been drawing a lot of attention.
The cartoon was first posted on Friday and has since gone viral, with people commenting on it in a variety of ways.
Some of them are downright hilarious, with others sharing the same sentiment with their friends and family.
“This cartoon has got me laughing my ass off!” one person said, adding, “It was a very funny cartoon to see.
It’s a good example of how a cartoon can be entertaining.””
I like the way the kids are laughing when the police are around,” another wrote.
“They are just so funny.”
The cartoon’s creator, Mike Tompkins, told ABC News that he came up with the idea after reading the news about a police officer who was killed in the line of duty.
“I got tired of reading about how we have to keep a certain level of decorum in the police department,” Tompkin said.
“I think it’s important to have some sort of discipline, so that when people feel uncomfortable, they can have some form of escape.”
Tompkins said that the cartoon has also been making waves in other ways.
“The more I see this kind of thing on Facebook, the more people are responding and getting it and sharing it, and getting in touch with me,” Tommins said.
