Hidden Figures, the upcoming animated film starring Marvel star Adam Driver and a group of comic book superheroes, has a new trailer and cast list and is headed to theaters on December 15.
Directed by the director of The Secret Service, The Hidden Figures opens in theaters Dec. 15, 2018.
Director Ryan Fleck is best known for directing the hit Netflix series House of Cards, which was renewed for a second season.
While The Hidden Powers will be Fleck’s first animated film, he’s already been involved in a number of animated projects, most recently with the animated comedy Happy Feet.
The film follows a group called The Hidden Power, which includes an army of superpowered kids.
According to the official synopsis, The Invisible Police is set in a world where superheroes have been disappearing for decades.
In a post on Facebook, Fleck explained that the film is “about a group who have all become superheroes, and they’re not the same as the real superheroes.”
“This film is an extension of the series that made me want to be a filmmaker, and the story of the characters is about our struggle to find ourselves,” Fleck wrote.
“In order to survive and find our purpose, we need to be true to ourselves and our world.”
